More of Adam’s AE86. Now reppin’ Sweetbrah.com

Got some welding done on my car over the weekend, good & bad news, but more on that later.

While we were waiting for my mate to do the rust removing & welding, Adam suggested we go for a drive in his AE86 to find some new places to snap some shots of his car. Stumbled across a nice new industrial estate in Hedge End, about a 15 min drive from the house. Nice!

Needs moar low on the back. He tells me something crazy might happen during this week, mainly consisting of spring removal & angle grinders – can't think of what that could possibly mean!? Nice man, NICE.

Also he's taken quite a liking to my SSR wheels on my s13. Haha, yeh I'm not selling them but he does tell me dishy wheels are on the cards, I'm hoping for minimum 14×10 et-100 with 9.5 inch dish. Yeh, k?

He's also now reppin' a SweetBrah sticker, pretty neat. Haven't actually done a post about this, but its my "other website" where I attempt to sell cool stickers. Another of Adam’s cars – Tofu-style AE86

Some of you may remember I posted up photos of a certain gorgeous 180sx Kouki Type-X a while ago? This was my mate Adam's car, until this weekend occurred… Now he's got himself an AE86. I don't quite know how to put this into words, but "downgrade" comes to mind? But heh, its his car and, tbf, he's wanted one for a long time now. So good on him!

Its a 1986 Toyota Corolla Trueno AE86 (Facelift Kouki model), Adam says.

He's had it less than 24 hours and he's already set to work stripping it out. Good man…

Unfortunately Adam dashed out this evening too quickly before I could grab some decent shots, so this is all I got for now. But hopefully he won't go swapping or selling it anytime soon, at least enough time so I can grab some proper photos of it.

Nice enough, eh? More low, better wheels and good diff are on the cards in the (very) near future. More pics when stuff happens. Nice one Ads… But I wonder how long he'll own this one?

Adam’s 180sx Type-X Kouki. Does it get any more JDM?

Adam, my mate, has just got himself another 180sx. He somehow managed to swap his old 180sx for this Type-X 180sx Kouki edition, for basically a straight-swap. Jammy ******! It a 1996 and pretty stock at the moment, but its rolling on a set of gold Enkei Circlar GTA 17" forged alloys with just some lowering springs, your average cat-back exhaust and a Blitz dump valve. Went out the other evening grabbed some shots for him. Nice motor

Looks just as good from the back, sporting those sexy Kouki rear lights and genuine Kouki Type-X wing.

He tells me his plans are to get it a touch lower on some nice coilovers, add some gauges, and then the usual modifications from there-on, FMIC, boost controller, bucket seat, welded diff & so-on. Quality.
