Finally, got proper fitment.

Finally got my pimp on and got fitment, at last. Wasn't too bad on the front to start with, but I've slipped on another 5mm. Out back, I've finally got round to cutting away the lip on the overfender, then managed to squeeze on a 20mm hub-centric.

For the geeks out there,

Front – 17×9 et22 + 20mm spacers (eff. et2). s14 LCA, rolled/bent fender. -3.5* camber
Rear – 17×10 et18 + 20mm spacer (eff. et-2). +30mm rear fender. -1.5* camber.

Really happy with how its sat now, and doesn't seem to affect the drivability of it so far. Just getting fed up of looking at that tired old front bumper. The Zenki/Pignose/Prefacelift days are soon over… :)

s13 > EF Civic > R32 GTR.

Went out yesterday evening for another social with my buddies. Turned out to be a pretty good night, with a good few new faces who tagged along too.

Finally got a good shot of my s13 in the daylight, after more tweaking with fitment. Happy with the front fitment now, its less than 3mm from tyre to fender which is cool, however the rear needs a bit more work until I'm completely happy with it.

Shortly after arriving, this 4-door EF Civic arrived, sporting a roof-rack, 16" bronze Grids and a retro-standard interior. I fell in love with this pretty quickly!

We headed off to the infamous multi-story car park where we always do, and I asked Graham, the owner of this tastefully modified R32 GTR to park up, seperated from the other cars so I could get some proper shots of it.

Quite a stunning piece of machinery if I'm honest. And it sounds absolutely incredible, I really love the sound of those straight-6 RB units, damn.

I took a few other shots yesterday too, take a browse of all of them on my Flickr link here.

Alignment, followed by improved fitment shortly.

Getting my alignment done today on my s13, then I can set to work on getting Tsuda-Ichi fitment (yes yes, Japanese for paper-thin, and yes that was from Part Shop Max website)… But anyway, can't concentrate too much on the fitment just yet since I'm not sure where the wheels/tyres will be pointing after alignment. I've got a handful of spacers in various sizes and a mate who's willing to swap his extended wheel studs for my stock length wheel studs, if I need them :)

However for now, this is how she's sitting. Need to paint the fender, I know :)

s13 Rear Fenders – Tubbing begins. Fitment headache continues…

Tubbing of the s13 rear fenders begins today! Dropped it off earlier to my mate, Stu, at his garage, and he's got it for the rest of the week to cut away those old arches, and to make way for my new pimp 17" rims, when I have funds to buy them.

Speaking of pimp rims, really dig the ol' famous Enkei RPF1's at the moment. Seriously dope wheels.

But seriously expensive wheels too, so Rota Grid's are still on the top of my list. Can't wait to get them now though, been doing lots of reading & research regarding fitments, offsets, tyre choices etc and I think I've got it pretty clear in my head now, what I want and how I'll achieve it.

There's certainly an element of "dark arts" involved getting bang on fitment, just not sure if it'll pay off yet or not. We'll see I guess :)

Dan’s Eunos: A Eunos with man fitment & stance

k, So Dan's got another car then. This is what Dan does until he's happy by the way, he buys a car, and swaps it, and swaps it, and swaps it until he's found one he wants. Hopefully this is the one he wants now because, well firstly this little Eunos is pretty neat, and secondly I'm beginning to get confused about which car(s) he own(s)!

Anyway, amongst other things on the impressive spec list, its rolling nice on some 15×8 et0 XXR 002's. Quite a big fan of XXR's, I'm thinking about getting myself a pair to use as skid wheels, so my car doesn't look weak when I'm sliding. Anyway 15×8 et0 on a Eunos appears to be damn-near perfect fitment.

He owned it less than 24 hours until he decided it was defiantly too high, so he dropped it on the HSD coilovers, then removed the locking rings, and dropped it some more. Now its sitting tight, just over a credit-card thickness between tyre wall and arch. Good man.

Have to get some more pics of this when he's got it out and about and on the road proper. For now though, enjoy the fitment pictures and this Eunos stance
